With over a decade of experience in the beauty industry and a specialisation in advanced skin treatments for non surgical cosmetic correction of benign lesions (e.g. skin tags, keratosis ) and vascular blemishes (e.g. thread veins, blood spots). I have successfully addressed a wide range of issues, including acne, aging, rosacea, pigmentation, scarring, and PCOS hair removal.
My experience and qualifications include treatments such as Laser and IPL, Electrolysis, Advanced Electrolysis, LED Light Therapy, Microneedling, Chemical Peels, Radio Frequency, Mesotherapy, HIFU, Dermabrasion, Beauty Facials, and Prescriptive Skincare.
As a science enthusiast, I love to understand the intricacies of skin health and educate my clients. My goal is to empower you with confidence through effective solutions and visible results.

ALANNA - MASSAGE THERAPIST
Alanna has 21 years experience in the beauty industry. Focusing mainly on different massage styles and facials.
Starting her career with Clarins working in the prestigious jenners department store. Over the years Alanna has added to her training by becoming the first Face Yoga teacher under the Danielle Collins face yoga method in Scotland and completing courses in Indian head, hot stones and reiki.
Alanna then had a couple of years working mobile and working in some of the most luxurious spas with the most wonderful products. She then opened her own mobile massage business. Intercity mobile therapists, bringing the spa to people at home.
Alanna is delighted to bring her high quality, luxurious spa inspired treatments to Caryn Fower Advanced Skin Therapy.

Doing beauty isn't my hobby, it's my passion in life. I want to make sure you leave the room feeling peaceful and refreshed, letting that inner glow shine through.
Im trained in all things beauty from waxing to gel nails, lash lifts to brow laminations, BIAB to threading... and more to come soon!! When Caryn told me about opening room 1 and wanting me to do beauty, I was honored for her to want to work alongside me... I cannot wait to be working with such amazing team and it's only going up from here.... WATCH THIS SPACE!!!
Based in the beautiful town of Haddington where I have lived since 2018. I am originally from Falkirk but moved away when i was a wee one and ended up down south in Essex for 13 years. My knowledge of beauty goes back to when I started playing with dolls and dress up with my mum and nana where I did their make up, nails and hair.
Im excited to make a start at Ugstonrigg and help you with all things brows, lashes and nails!
Caryn Fower Advanced Skin Therapy Rooms are based in the tranquil settings of The Courtyard, Ugstonrigg in East Lothian. Hidden away, behind the hedge, you will find our peaceful Beauty Therapy Room in room 1, and our Skin Specialist Clinic in room 8.
'I took room 8 in February 2025 and haven't looked back. It's always been so important to me to create the perfect setting for my clients, and I knew instantly that this was the ideal place. I've since taken on another room in June, (room 1) and im so excited to see what the future holds for CF.AST here'
